Dr. Douglas W. Halliday, MD, PhD, is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon and the founder of his own private practice. He also serves as Medical Director for A Beautiful You Skincare, bringing extensive surgical and aesthetic expertise to both clinical and cosmetic care. Dr. Halliday has been a leading facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon in the Syracuse and Finger Lakes region for more than 25 years, with a deep understanding of facial anatomy and an emphasis on natural-looking results. 

Dr. Halliday received his MD and PhD from SUNY Upstate Medical Center, graduating with honors, and completed his residency — followed by chief residency — in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Upstate Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery with specialization in facial plastic surgery, including aging face and facelift surgery, neck tightening, eyelid and brow procedures, facial liposuction, and nasal and sinus reconstructive surgery including septoplasty and rhinoplasty. 

He is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Halliday is passionate about patient education and individualized treatment planning, believing that informed patients are empowered to make the best decisions for their care. Outside of medicine, he supports community causes and enjoys outdoor activities, aviation, and spending time with his family.
